Easter

Easter was memorable for our family this year. We began the day by heading to church to show off our new little bundle. She was only 5 days old & our friends were excited to meet her. After the afternoon naps for all of us, we bundled up and headed to Fred Meijer Gardens to visit the Butterfly exhibit. Levi formed a love/hate relationship with the butterflies... he was so overcome by curiosity, but at the same time terrified of them when they came too close. He would cover his eyes, run and say "no! no!"

On the way home, we talked about how the Easter bunny had visited our house while we were out & when we got home Levi could hunt for the eggs that he had left. How exciting! As soon as we walked in the house & Levi spotted an egg hiding on the couch, he whispered, "bunny." Adorable!

So we had a little Easter egg hunt with Levi - who couldn't get enough of the M&M's inside the eggs! Anna stayed awake for the entire hunt & just watched her big brother run all over the house. What a relaxing day for our new family. We were really able to rest & enjoy being together.
Definitely one of my most favorite weekends... ever.

What wonderful memories!! It looks like Levi has quite the personality. How do you ever get him to sit still long enough to take a picture. He just looks like he is on the go all the time. Again, what a beautiful family you have. You look so completely happy. What a blessing.
