4th of July!

We celebrated America's Birthday with our good friends:

Eric, Erin & Cole,

Jason, Jamie & Charlie,

Ted, Michelle & Nicole (Michelle's sister).

Grand Rapids closes the city bridges for the 4th & thousands gather to watch the fireworks over the Grand River. They are an amazing show!!! We started this tradition with Ted & Michelle last year (while I was in labor) - and loved it so much we wanted to do it again.

The kiddos were afraid at first and all of the parents who were holding them had to cover their ears - what a funny sight - 4 kids staring at the sky with ears covered :) ha ha haHalf way through the show, Levi pulled Joel's hands off his ears & pointed at the fireworks & squealed & talked ... he loved them!
