CRAWLING!

Our lives became a little crazzier on Monday, March 19. Levi finally did the "impossible".... he crawled! Crinkly paper was really what motivated him - he couldn't wait to get himself across the room to eat it!

He has taken off like a champ! Besides paper, his favorite things to crawl to (at lightning speed) are the cat's water dish... it must remind him of his longed for daily bath time "splash, splash!" And any shoe that may be lying around (he seriously reminds me of a little puppy... all the time). He also seems to be magnetically pulled to the stairs - he nearly fell down them the other day - so out came the baby gate... but that is only one more jungle gym-like item that begs to be climbed on.

Standing - yes, he has learned how to stand up by himself (with the help of anything sturdy, or not). The hardest part here is that he LOVES to stand up in his crib.... so the past few days have had incredibly challenging nap/bed times. It takes him about 5 times of being laid back down before he can fall asleep. (this turns out to be an hour). And it's so sad because his huge, proud smile greets you from the doorway... and it just breaks his little heart to be put back to bed. This too shall pass..... :)
